April 4, 1847 Chesley Curtis mad a deed to Wiley McGregor stating that "whereas by descent" he, Elizabeth Melton, Amy Freeman,_______Huckden, margaret Freeman, Patsy Sandford, Delila Curtis, Sarah Curtis, Pressa Curtis, Charnel H. Curtis and William Curtis had an equal and undivided interest in land in district 4, bordering Ezekiel McGregor on the north, William Stubblefield on the west, and Wiley McGregor on the east and south.

fOn March 21, 1849 Wiley McGregor executed a trust deed to Henderson McGregor involving 4 tracts of land once belonging to Jacob Martin on Collins River. Adjoining the land was a tract of 30 acres "purchased of the heirs of Sarah Curtis" (Blk Q page 130) Vinson Sandford and wife Patty, Charnell H. Curtis, Elizabeth Melton, and Sarah Curtis deeded their interest in the tract to Wiley McGregor.
